New conflict resolution dialog in Mesh is a big improvement

One of my biggest gripes about Live Mesh since its inception in April 2008 had been that the conflict resolution mechanism has not been up to scruff and I complained long and hard about it on the Live Mesh forum as have others. Today’s new release of Live Mesh though brings with it a much better conflict resolution dialog:

This is a much friendlier UI than previous so I’m happy with that; we also get a lot more information presented to us. One of my big complaints was that the timestamps shown weren’t consistent with reality so hopefully that’s been fixed too – time will tell.

Not all is rosy though. We still don’t get told which device and update was made on and there is still no way (that I can see) of applying a resolution to multiple files at the same time – quite a problem if you have thousands of conflicts like some people do.
